Spring Concerts

The Warhawk Band Program holds three concerts each Spring to showcase the incredible talents of many young musicians. Concerts are held in the SHS auditorium, and are open to the public. Current families are encouraged to spread the word, inviting friends and neighbors - as well as our alumni families - to join us to support the students and the program.

Spring Concert

TBD, the Spring Concert will take place at 7pm. This concert features the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band, and encompasses pieces they have been working on throughout the year, along with a traditional tribute to graduating seniors.

Tickets to the Spring Concert are $3. Admission is also covered by Seaso n Tickets.

Night of Jazz

TBD, an extraordinary evening of Jazz will take place at 7pm. The Jazz Big Band and the Jazz Combo from SHS will perform, along with special guests from the SMS Jazz Band.

In the days prior to the concert, a professional, working Jazz musician will be brought in to hold a clinic with students, sharing the experiences of working in the Jazz Industry. The clinician will teach, socialize with, and then perform with students as part of the Night of Jazz.

Admission is open to the public, and is free of charge. A voluntary donation will be collected following the concert, to help fund the Jazz Program and scholarship students who require financial assistance.

Percussion Concert

TBD, the Percussion Concert will take place in the SHS Auditorium at 7pm. The Warhawk Percussion Ensemble and Indoor Percussion Ensemble will be joined by the SMS JV Drumline and the Bauder Elementary Drum Club. Under the direction of Mr. Alvin Ramos, ensembles will perform individually, and join together in a group finale - an impressive show of the percussive art at it's finest.

Admission is open to the public, and is free of charge. A voluntary donation will be collected following the concert, to help fund the Percussion Program and scholarship students who require financial assistance.
